college boy

nachdem ich mal wieder auf meine beverly hills 90210 dvd sammlung gestossen bin, hatte ich gestern lust auf den college look. ok, creepers gehören da absolut nicht rein, aber für mich haben sie dem ganzen noch den letzten kick gegeben. danach war ich richtig angefixt und habe den ganzen sonntag auf der couch verbracht und mir einen collegefilm nach dem nächsten reingezogen. ein perfekter sonntag!

after retrieving my old dvd collection of beverly hills 90210, i really felt like doing the college look. a word and a blow, ok, the creepers might not fit perfectly but for me they put the final touch to the whole look. i was totally inspired and so i spent hours of watching college movies on my sofa yesterday. a perfect sunday!

oh frühling, wo bleibst du nur? so langsam bin ich mit meinen winter outfits am ende der fahnenstange. mittlerweile beherrscht schwarz meine komplette garderobe. ende der woche haben sich allerdings höhere temperaturen angemeldet und ich kann es gar nicht abwarten endlich meine ganzen sommersachen auszupacken. farbe olé!

oh spring where art thou? slowly but surely i don't know what to wear anymore. in the meantime black dominates my whole wardrobe. but there's a light at the end of the tunnel. the weatherman promised springlike temperature at the end of the week. i can't wait to unpack all my summer clothes. colour olé!

modern cowboy

während draussen väterchen frost weiterhin sein unwesen treibt, bereite ich mich drinnen bereits auf wärmere tage vor. als kleiner junge wollte ich (surprise, suprise) gerne cowboy werden. das hat nicht ganz geklappt, dennoch könnte man mein folgendes outfit als moderne interpretation eines cowboys bezeichnen (yo, mit viel fantasie, aber so what!?). momentan ist das ganze nur mit einer tonne schichten darüber tragbar, aber einmal ausgepackt gefällt mir das ganze schon ganz gut. also winter, verzieh dich.

while father frost is making trouble outside, i'm getting ready for spring inside. as a little boy i always wanted to be (surprise, surprise) a cowboy. well, that didn't work out but my following outfit could be the modern interpretation of a cowboy look (yo, that needs a lot of imagination). at the moment only wearable with tons of layers, but once unwrapped i really like the look. anyway, get lost winter!

O.M.G - born to die

oh yeah, die ersten teile der neuen acne collection sind bei jades eingetroffen und 2 davon sind auch schon in meinen besitz gewandert. ich fürchte, wenn der rest kommt bin ich pleite. die sachen sind so richtig cosy und eignen sich perfekt zum abhängen. denn da düsseldorf beschlossen hat sich temperaturtechnisch in den nordpol zu verwandeln, halte ich mich weitestgehend drinnen auf. kälte ist nichts für mexikaner. gerade ist das sofa mein neuer bester freund und gemeinsam mit der entzückenden lana del rey chillen wir dann um die wette.

oh yeah, the first pieces of the new acne collection just arrived at jades and 2 of them already took place in my closet. i guess, i'll be broke when the rest is in store. jumper and jeans are mega cosy and perfect to hang around. since düsseldorf feels like the north pole, i spend my time inside as far as possible. mexicans can't stand coldness. right now the sofa became my best friend, along with lovely lana del rey we're chilling ad nauseam.

inspire me

das wetter draussen ist momentan einfach zu beschissen für ein vernünftiges outfitfoto. die berliner modewoche hat mich jedoch völlig gefangen und so versuche ich gerade die inspirationen zu verarbeiten um sie möglichst bald am eigenen körper umsetzen zu können. ein paar ideen werden da sicherlich auch von meinen lieblingsdesignern mit einfließen, sie haben gerade allesamt ihre autumn/winter 2012/2013 kollektionen gezeigt. welche looks mich am meisten gepackt haben seht ihr hier. wenn ihr das lest liebe designer, ihr könnt mir die sachen auch einfach schicken.

rum diary

die tage werden kürzer und die texte meiner posts auch. jades hält mich ordentlich auf trapp und das ist auch gut so. in den wenigen freien minuten lese ich momentan "the rum diary" von hunter s. thompson, allerdings freue ich mich auch schon sehr auf den film, der mit johnny depp in der hauptrolle extremst gut zu werden verspricht. ich verspreche euch hier jedoch erstmal mehr und längere posts. mexikaner ehrenwort.

days get shorter and so do the texts of my posts. jades keeps my busy and and that's a good thing. during my free time i started reading "the rum diary" by hunter s. thompson. however i can't wait to also see the movie which looks very promising, not only because of johnny depp. i promise you to post more and at lenght. mexican's honor.

die meisten von euch starten heute vermutlich ins wochenende. auch wenn ich morgen arbeiten muss, werde ich heute abend eine kleine performance in der örtlichen dorfdisco abliefern. die party die meine freunde von drmtm heute abend dort schmeissen, steht ganz unter dem motto "passion's pump up the jam" und wirft uns musiktechnisch zurück in die 90s. bevor es heute abend los geht, werde ich mich dem anlass entsprechend in versace werfen und mich mit meinen ganz persönlichen 90's top 5 in stimmung bringen. welche nummern aus dieser zeit haben bei euch zu ohrwürmern, welche zu ohrenkrebs geführt?

nach einer woche gips und gammel-look hat mich das leben nun endlich zurück. das musste gefeiert werden und was passt zu einem feierlichen anlass besser als schwarz, waldgrün und bordeaux?!

after a week of plaster and lazy look life finally got me back. black, forrest green and burgundy seem to be the perfect fit for this occacion.

"omg. was zur hölle ist mit seinem gesicht passiert?!?" ich wünschte ich hätte dazu jetzt eine wahnsinns geschichte über eine gewonnene prügelei, plastische chirurgie oder einen spektakulären sportunfall, aber ich bin schlicht und einfach blöd gefallen und habe mir die nase gebrochen. damit das ganze wenigstens nach irgendetwas aussieht, trage ich in den letzten tagen sportliche klamotten. in 3 tagen kommt der gips wieder ab, bis dahin ist mitleid herzlich willkommen.

"omg. what the hell happend to his face?!?" i wish i could tell you a spectacular story about a sport accident, a fight or at least plastic surgery. true story is that i just fell stupidly and broke my nose. to transform the whole shabang into a good look i'm wearing sporty clothes through the last days. 3 days to go and it's time to say goodbye to the damn plaster. till then, i need your sympathy.

h&m x versace vs. versace wannabe

besser spät als nie. nachdem die h&m x versace kollektion schon durch die ganze blogosphäre gegeistert ist, findet das thema auch bei mir statt. kann so mancher gar nichts mit donatellas designs anfangen, so kann ich mir einige teile durchaus in meinem kleiderschrank vorstellen. ganz vorne mit dabei ist die college jacke. auf dem berliner mauerpark trödel habe ich vor gar nicht allzu langer zeit meine persönliche versace-wannabe-jacke ergattert. ob sie durch die neue jacke abgelöst wird oder die beiden ein gemeinsames dasein bei mir fristen werden, ich weiß es noch nicht. was meint ihr?

better late than never. you may have seen the h&m x versace collektion already on every single fashion blog. well, now it's my turn. many of you might not get down with donatellas designs, but i would love to have some pieces in my wardrobe. one of my favourites is the college jacket. a few weeks a go, i found my personal versace-wannabe-jacket on a fleamarket. if the new jacket will replace my old one or if they will live happily ever after, i dunno. what do you think?

somebody that I used to know

oh yes, auch ich trage burgundy (der heißeste scheiss in der blogosphäre), allerdings ist meine cordhose von h&m schon 7 jahre alt und wird jeden herbst wieder ausgegraben. meine tigha jacke gehört mittlerweile ebenso zu meinen treuesten begleitern. wer errät bei bei dem foto welchen berufswunsch ich als kind hatte? richtig, frontman einer richtig coolen band. bei der vergabe des gesangstalents hat man mich allerdings so gut wie gar nicht bedacht. freut euch, dass ich nicht den beweis antreten will.

oh yes, even i am wearing burgundy (that latest hype in blogosphere), however my h&m cord pants are 7 years old. i bring them back into use every fall. my tigha jacket also became my constant companion. who can guess which career aspiration i had as a kid? right, i always wanted to be the frontman of a cool band. well, i thinks that wasn't gods plan. be glad that i don't wanna give you a proof.

tgif! heute hatte ich meinen freien tag! da ich die letzten tage immer brav meinen teller leer gegessen habe, hat mich der liebe gott mit blauem himmel und strahlendem sonnenschein belohnt. was ich gemacht habe? so ziemlich nichts und das war der kracher. ach doch, ich hab mit ein paar flamingos abgehangen. schräger haufen, aber wenigstens ganz pretty.

tgif. today was my day off. i was a good boy this week, so the lord rewarded me with a bright and sunny day. what i did? almost nothing and that was awesome. well yeah, i was hanging out with some flamingos. random peeps but at least the were pretty.

hello fall!

der frühe vogel fängt den wurm my ass. der frühe ausflug zum trödel hat rein gar nichts gebracht. ich habe gerade mal 2 lausige (wenn auch coole) bilder und eine miniatur ausgabe des eifelturms gefunden. den eiffelturm nehme ich jetzt mal als zeichen für eine baldige reise in die stadt der liebe, denn er hat sich heute auch in meinem outfit wiedergefunden. gemütlich musste es sein, also habe ich den pullover aus dem schrank meines freundes gemopst. mein neuer parka wurde bei dieser gelegenheit auch direkt eingeweiht. hallo herbst, jetzt bist du wohl komplett zurück.

the early bird gets the worm my ass. the early trip to the flea market didn't pay off. i just fond two lousy pictures (even if they're awesome) and a mini eiffeltower. i'll take the tower as a sign for an upcoming trip to the city of love, you can even find it in my outfit. it had to be cosy today, i stole the jumper from my bf's closet. my new parka also got christened on this occasion. hello fall, seems like your finally back.

ok, eigentlich kann jetzt keiner mehr etwas mit kurzen hosen anfangen. zumindest nicht in diesem teil der welt, denn das wetter nervt. allerdings möchte ich euch mein dinneroutfit vom letzten urlaubstag nicht vorenthalten. kurz und schmerzlos.

der sommer ist weg, was bleibt ist die süsse erinnerung. vor allem an feuchtfröhliche momente, so wie die poolparty vor 2 wochen. mein freund der hai - von dem ich immer dachte er wäre ein delphin, vermutlich aber nur weil er schwul ist - und ich hatten eine menge spass.

summer is gone, sweet memories stay. first and foremost the wet 'n wild moments, like the pool party 2 weeks ago. my friend the shark – of whom i thought he is a dolphin, probably only because he is gay – and i had tons of fun.

noch vor einer woche war ich im urlaub, wo sonne & strand meinen alltag bestimmt haben. in einem strandshop habe ich doch tatsächlich die badesandalen gefunden, die ich als kind so geliebt habe. kombiniert mit ein paar anderen typischen begleitern aus früheren tagen und der trip in meine kindheit war perfekt. erzählt es keinem, aber ich war damals unglaublich in minnie verschossen. irgendwie bin ich es wohl immer noch. also, verzieh dich mickey!

only one week ago i've been on holiday where sun and beach ruled my everyday life. in a beachshop i found the bathing sandals that i really loved when i was a kid. combined with some other companions from back in the days and the walk down memory lane was perfect. don't tell anyone, but i really had a crush on minnie. well, i guess i'm still in love. so, get lost mickey.
